Ideally suited to both light commercial and residential buildings, the Ali VU aluminium window system can also be used as an attractive and cost-effective replacement for heritage style steel windows. Featuring a polyamide thermal break for impressive thermal efficiency, the sleek design of the window also gives slim sightlines and wider views.

Performance

High performance polyamide thermal barrier giving U-values as low as 1.0 W/m2K when calculated as a residential CEN Standard window.
Further thermal enhancement is possible using 2 different backer rods, to achieve required U-values.
Can achieve an A+ Window Energy Rating.
Able to receive double or triple glazing from 24mm up to 36mm on the radius and stepped vent option and from 24mm to 44mm on the fixed outer frames and flat faced vents.
Fully security tested to PAS24 Enhanced Security and Secured by Design.
Tested to BS6375 Part 1 Weather; BS6375 Part 2 Operation & Strength.

Materials and Finishes

All materials are responsibly sourced from reputable suppliers.
Wherever possible we source locally.
Extruded aluminium is generally Aluminium Alloy 6060.T6/T66. 6063.T6/T66. 6082.T6 to BS EN 755-9 and EN 12020-2.
Polyamide thermal barriers are manufactured in accordance with PA66 GF25.
The Gasketry is generally manufactured in accordance with BS ISO 02-1.
The fixings are generally A2 stainless steel screws.
Available in an almost unlimited range of colours and a variety of finishes.

Easy to Fabricate and Install

Constructed using mitred corners, joined with crimped cleats.
Alignment chevrons assist in clean, accurate mitres.
A proprietary sealant is used on all metal joints.
Punch tool available for help with fabrication.

Flush casement option with standard or deep outer frames.
French Casement option with central floating mullion allows a fully opened aperture to give uninterrupted views.
Available in an almost unlimited range of colours and finishes both inside and out.
Choice of square or chamfered beads.

Both standard and feature (ovolo style) outer frames available.
Available with a range of cills, baypoles and corner posts to create a diverse range of bay windows designs.

Ali VU Multi Frame allows a wide range of configurations of fixed lights and vents in the same window.
Ali VU Long Leg Multi Frame gives even more flexibility around window reveals and plaster lines.
